It keeps me warm while wearing pajamas. It is terribly heavy for backpacking and definitely not rated correctly. If you just can’t afford a better bag…DO NOT GO OUT IN COLD WEATHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. The only way you would sleep well in this bag is if you are under 5’5″ and very slender and use it summer nights or maybe push it to early fall. Shopping for sleeping bags is overwhelming. There are just so many bags available. I did a good Ozark Trail Sleeping Bags bit of research before purchasing ours. Of course, I wanted something that would keep us warm.
This is only a 30-degree sleeping bag and may get cold on late fall or winter camping trips. Not only is it harsh to Ozark Trail Sleeping Bags the touch, but noisy too. And every time you move your feet you get to hear the crinkle of the fabric on the bottom.
I would not recommend this product to anyone unless I wanted them to freeze and get a terrible night’s sleep. I nearly froze to death on the trail, and craftsmanship is garbage (to put it mildly). The bag is machine-washable and the lightweight design fits easily in both the washer and dryer.
