Speaking of storage, the wagon comes with a storage basket than can be relocated to the front of the stroller or removed if you don’t want it. It is a nice size and can fit my diaper bag and hydroflask and still have room. Folding the wagon up for storage/transportation is really easy and intuitive.
This is a more superficial want but I do wish it had an extra cup holder or worked well with a stroller caddy. I will see if I can find one that is compatible ( will be announcing if I find one). I love when you can have your storage, but also have as seperate place for drinks/ keys. My wife and I are parents of a wonderful little boy and he is a great blessing and joy to us. Most people will rave about the storage on a wagon… which is accurate if you buy a gigantic Wonderfold with 4 seats for just 2 kids, but with Evenflo there’s basically not much storage. The handle shifts it between a pull wagon and a push stroller. Overall is collapses to about the same size as our full-size stroller, but is much easier to manipulate when both kids are on it. Evenflo wagon is incredibly easy it is to fold. Just push two buttons and it folds and fits.
To unlock it, you apply pressure to the tabs located at the base of each handle and free it. It can easily be done with one person, but you will need both hands free to do it, so I always do it once I have put my baby in the seat. Admittedly, before I owned a baby wagon stroller, I had no idea that such a parenting product even existed. But as it would turn out, it’s all three, and so much more. As long as you’re here, allow us to introduce ourselves.
Everything else snapped into place with ease. The instructions were very clear, and piecing things together was super intuitive. It took less than 10 minutes to evenflo car seat and stroller fully assemble, and that was with my 2 year old “helping” out. Even though this wagon is larger than our single stroller, the assembly was quicker and easier.
There is no additional storage if the wagon is occupied by two children. The Pivot Xplore is a mainstream product, priced below several popular 2-seat wagons and even with others. There is dual snack try with cupholder in the center of the wagon so each kid has their space to store their own things whether it be snacks or toys.
A removable snack tray with kid cupholders fits across the middle of the wagon. The tray and cupholders are deep enough to keep snacks and cups in unless you are flying over major bumps. There is a footwell that allows kids to sit in a more natural seated posture than by wagons that don’t have a footwell. The Evenflo footwell is not wide between seats or deep.
It’s both a stroller and a wagon all in one. I haven’t worried about the weight capacity. The wagon is solid and there don’t seem to be any weak points. Whether you want to push or pull the Pivot Xplore, just flip the handle without even removing the second seat.
For our family – my son takes naps in a dark room. BUT, if being able to sleep on the go is important to your family – I’d take that into consideration. It only needed a hex wrench (included), but that was only needed for one of the steps.
The Wonderfolds are more classic wagon-shaped strollers. They have reclining seats with a deeper footwell that results in a roomier, more comfortable ride. The Xplore Pivot is easier to steer evenflo car seat and stroller and push than many other stroller wagons. It is not quite as long as some, so it feels more like turning a stroller than turning a wagon. We conducted 65 tests over a period of three months.
