But for real camping I see it as a system for up to 5 users, ideal for parents with 2-3 kids, and also for two couples. Ozark trail makes just about everything you could need for getting outside. They have an affordable option for everything from knives and camping cookware to outboard motors.
The craziest (and best) thing about this tent is that it requires almost no assembly and can be set up in less than five minutes. Once it’s standing, it’s big enough to fit two queen size mattresses and even has a private room in the back (with a divider) to create three separate living spaces. If you’re looking to save money but still want that cabin tent experience, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Two-Room Cabin is tough to beat. If you’re willing to spend a few extra bucks (emphasis on few), the Ozark Trail 9-Person Cabin with a screen room gives some added livability at a similar price point. The easiest models to pitch are pretty much always “instant tent” shelters, which use a system of preattached poles than only need to be unfolded and locked into place.
Very tall in the middle allowing me at 6 feet 3 inches tall and 260 pounds to finally be able to stand all the way up and not feel crowded in a tent. The closets seemed pointless when we bought it but have turned out to be a huge help. The poles are steel and connected by braided wire, so there’s not much concern with those going off.
On that note, I can imagine very few circumstances in which 7 people could comfortably share this tent. Don’t get me wrong, Ozark Trail’s teepee is huge, but unless you plan on stacking people, there simply isn’t enough room. You could fit 7 sleeping bags, but not 7 bodies and their accessories.
