Finally, we should note that, at 40 pounds, this grill is more suited to car camping or picnicking, where it’s only a short walk to where you’ll be cooking. With that said, the Weber Q also makes for a perfect patio grill. I have a Q1200, a Genesis gas grill and a Performer charcoal grill, I love them all but I find myself gravitating towards the Q most nights. Grills with side table attachments, stands, and other prep areas ended up ranking higher in our tests, as we rated grills for their overall design. When cooking outside, a clean, workable surface makes prepping convenient and efficient.
If other parts of the grill, like the knobs or ash catch, break, they can be replaced. Even if those parts are no longer under warranty, it’s more affordable to replace them than to buy a whole new grill. You can increase the longevity of your grill by keeping it covered when not in use, and storing it inside during harsh weather. I have owned this Bar B Q about a month, and it works perfectly. Easy to light, heats up quickly, and folds down to a ver small foot print. Only thing I have found is that the grills are not easy to clean, but otherwise fits our needs for a smaller, efficient Bar B Q.
