This tent has a fuzzy mesh for more privacy and ventilation and an anti-snag entrance zipper for added security. It also has a 1200mm water-resistant PU coating for rainy days. After spending a lot of time with Ozark Trail Sleeping Bagss, my final verdict is that they’re excellent budget-friendly tents. With the large welcoming door you enter a huge 14′ x 10′ tent giving you 140 sq ft of living space. But even better, because you just pitched it in 2 minutes flat.
Additionally, an E-Port in the media pocket makes it simple to charge your electronics. Storage pockets let you store your belongings, and four lantern loops let you light up the tent. The design of this tent is a big rectangle, and it only has one door, but I haven’t found this setup to be a problem. The front door is a massive T-style door, allowing you to move large gear in and out with ease. Ozark Trail makes tents of all sizes, but we’ve found larger family camping tents to be their forte. At 128 sq ft, you’ll have more than enough room for two queen air mattresses, plus gear, plus plenty of headroom with an inside height of 74 inches. Not only that, but the dome tent will keep you safe from the elements better than any cabin tent out there.
The other divider, made of silver-coated fabric, can also be used as a movie screen. You receive two strings of hanging LED lights to provide lighting within the tent to keep you from the dark. Additionally, it has an E-port for charging all of your electronic devices. Tent brands usually make the same decisions across all their tents. They form the corners the same way and attach everything the same way, too. If they get it right with one tent, it’s likely all of their tents have great weather protection.
For example, many of their tents come with factory sealed seams. This allows you to have great water resistance right out the door without having to seal the seams yourself. This tent is not only an instant tent, but a 2-room tent that includes LED lighted poles and a bluetooth speaker. It also has a nice high peak height of 88 inches, plus its side walls are vertical, so it offers a lot of livable space.
Also, I’m not tall enough to attach it without some help, but if you’re slightly taller you should be able to attach it no problem. Every single time I open this door, the zipper will snag at least once, sometimes twice, which can be annoying. If there are no bugs though, I like to unzip the entire door and leave it open by rolling it up and clipping it to the side. The door does have a bug net, but it’s only for half the door, and not the full door. The holes are quite large, so I’m pretty sure that this is not no-see-um mesh. Each window has 2 zippers, which are a little bit noisy, but are generally quite snag-free.
Because it’s ridiculously inexpensive, the quality, design and weather protection isn’t the best, though I think it’ll work decently in summer (without rain, of course). Most tents with weather-shield material are made of PU, which is a durable material. The tent poles are usually made of fiberglass, alloy steel, or a combination. The materials are also washable using hands, which makes it even more convenient. Ft. of space, all split into three distinct, equal-sized rooms, all of which can fit queen-sized air beds. But, sometimes you want privacy, and this tent offers great room options.
The tent can be packed into a carry-on duffel and folded up compactly for transportation and storage. With this tent, you won’t directly Ozark Trail Canopies touch the grass or mud, and the built-in floor keeps insects at bay. For added comfort, two queen-size air beds fit comfortably inside.
