Though there is plenty of space for writing and drawing, the desks are low profile which works great for us. I am a bit concerned about the overall lightweight of the desks, but no issues with this at all so far. I do hope they hold up as the kids love having their own little desks for when they don’t want to be at the big table for homeschool, or need a little space from each other.
