The Shark RV765 is the updated version of the RV761 that we previously recommended. Like the Roomba 694, the Shark RV765 has a slightly different design and a longer run time than the RV761, but otherwise they’re the same vacuum. You can still bissell crosswave cordless find the RV761, but it’s a little difficult to do so now that the latest model is available. Although we haven’t tested the RV765, we feel comfortable recommending it since we found the previous version to be a great affordable robot vacuum.
Another point in Roborock’s favor is that many of their models have mopping attachments, which is rare for iRobot. The best Roomba vacuums are better built than dyson robot vacuum similarly-priced Roborock models and offerings from Shark or eufy. Complaints about iRobot’s customer service are rampant, reflecting a broader issue with its app and product support. The i4+ EVO’s self-emptying dock also failed to remove all the debris it had collected in its bin, leaving behind Cheerios and rice. If you schedule it to run every few days, or even every day, dust and crumbs won’t accumulate, leaving your floors feeling cleaner than they would without a bot. The iRobot Combo i5+, the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1, and the Eureka E10S feature swappable bins (or integrated water reservoirs) and small microfiber pads that clip on for mopping. Dragging the moist pad across the floor, they gradually use up the clean water, and since no dirty water is collected, these bots seem to do little more than redistribute dirt. After mopping, you have to detach the pads and wash them by hand or in the machine. This, in addition to their limited cleaning capability, makes them a poor investment compared to traditional mops.
