Weber Spirit II E-210 GBS Gas Barbecue Black

The Spirit II is the successor to the original Spirit E-310. It’s a much better grill than the original – cheaper, more compact, and better looking. The two large plastic wheels are more maneuverable than the four small caster wheels on the original. Cleaning this is largely easy with a couple of minor quibbles.

In case of leaks or other issues, it is advisable to consult a professional for further assistance. If a flare-up occurs, first close the lid to cut off the oxygen supply and turn off all burners. Avoid spraying water onto the grill to prevent any safety hazards. Wait for the flames to subside before carefully removing the food and adjusting the burner knobs to a lower setting. Clean any excess grease or fat buildup to prevent future flare-ups.

There’s also a spider prevention screen to keep eight-legged friends from creeping into your grill. But this grill’s best feature is probably the unheard-of ten-year warranty—excluding normal wear and tear, of course. The easy assembly of the Weber Spirit II E-310 is one of its strongest selling points; it only took us about an hour to put together after it was unboxed. There are about ten or so main pieces, and they easily fit together much like the instructions state they should.

After adding just a little oil, the grill grates were perfectly seasoned, which we weren’t expecting. Whether it was burgers, hot dogs, or veggies, just about everything we threw on this grill came out as desired. Could we cook multiple dishes at once, or were we forced to make each part of the meal piece by piece? For weeks, we cooked everything from burgers and hot dogs to veggies, steaks, and more. This Bluetooth device enables you to place one digital probe at the cooking surface to dial up the correct oven temp, and one probe in your food to monitor internal meat temp. Surprisingly, however, there is no read out on the iGrill 3 itself. You need to use the app even when you’re standing at the grill.

Check out Weber’s iGrill 3 video below that shows how to install this optional thermometer on their Genesis II. A red hot bed of fire on a charcoal grill creates a blend of radiant, convection and conduction heat that can out-sear most gas burners, particularly in this price range. Gas grill manufacturers often rely on cast Blackstone Adventure iron conduction to amplify the gas burner heat and at least add some brown sear marks to food surfaces. Some grillers have discovered a cast iron pan or griddle on their gasser works even better and effectively sears the entire meat surface. Note that the cast iron grates are not as wide as the opening between them.

The other is that the side holder for propane is pretty small. We found that a propane tank 30lb or larger won’t fit, so will have to sit out on the patio. Like almost all grills, this grill is hand-clean in soapy-water char broil performance only. Marks and grilled-on food were easy to remove but you’ll definitely need a scraper to get this done. Even better, you can see in the image above that the chicken fit within the round grill plate.

Home chefs can use the wide, cast-iron cooking grates to prepare multiple courses simultaneously on the three stainless-steel burners while keeping their tongs and spices on the cooker’s two side tables. The grill’s folding left side table and the two wheels on its right legs also make it more than capable to move around a backyard. Aside from its superior cooking power, this grill has some wonderful features, which include a Bluetooth-enabled thermometer that will send alerts directly to your smartphone.

While burners remain the grill’s most-replaced part, most are warranted for only 3 to 5 years. An indication of the sturdiness of the gas grill, based on our rigidity test and judgments of our expert testers. Evaluates the temperature after a 10 minute preheat using thermocouples.
