10 person Ozark Tent
I heard some people paid $15 for one pole, not sure how you got ripped off, but you did get ripped off. Replacement parts that cost more than half the cost of the whole tent, not worth it. It’s lightweight, brightly colored, and totally waterproof. I use the campdry as a precaution and have never had probs.
Sometimes I worry that these fiberglass poles will break, because they’re not that sturdy. The mattresses that I used in the picture above are slightly smaller than queen size, but almost queen-sized, give or take a couple of inches. These 4 mattresses take up the entire tent, and there’s hardly any space leftover for camping gear.
The tent and my friends including myself went through 20F nights, 50 mph winds, and summer/winter storms without no issues besides the cold. It does ozark tent block off the wind and prevents moisture from coming in very well. I rather spend 1/5th than what I really have to pay to get the same results.
That’s plenty of room for two queen mattresses with room left over for some chairs, a cooler, and a camp table. Speaking of camp tables Ozark Trail actually includes a small table with this shelter, which mounts at the base of the main support pole to make the most of the tent’s interior space. Having room to spread out inside a tent is great, but unless it’s after dark or raining, chances are you won’t be spending any more time inside your shelter than you absolutely have to. Nobody wants to spend all day sitting in direct sunlight either though, and that’s where a tent with a screen room like this Ozark Trail 9 Person Cabin comes into play.
The poles are still there but after reading review, I am a little worried about the poles, although the poles are not broken yet by now. Having a separate rain fly for a 2- or 3- person tent makes sense because multiple people can split up the weight a little easier on longer hikes. With a 1-person tent, that doesn’t really make as much sense. After all, I was carrying the whole thing and so it might as well be connected. Essentially, the rain fly for the Ozark Trail was integrated into the tent directly. The Hazel Creek 20-Person Star Tent With Screen Room was designed to sleep, yes, 20 people.
It rained for about an hour while I was using this Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent, with about 20 minutes of moderate rainfall and about 40 minutes of pretty light rain. For weather resistance, I looked ozark trail tents at rain and wind protection. Also, when it’s raining, there’s hardly any ventilation. There are no vents in this Ozark Trail 10-Person tent at all. The rainfly is removable, but only from the outside.
