Ozark Trail Tent Reviews

Shape wise most Ozark Trail tents either come in a cabin or dome shape. Cabin tents typically have more room inside to stretch out thanks to their high ceilings and vertical walls, so most Ozark Trail shoppers will likely want to focus on cabin tents. Layout wise is virtually identical to the Core Instant Cabin we evaluated for ozark trail wall tent our 10 person tent roundup, but delivers those same massive interior dimensions for about $100 less. I bought the tent for $38, for a camping trip with a few friends. As soon as I took the tent out of the package, FOR THE FIRST TIME, I began to set it up, only to realize that the poles were broken BEFORE the tent was ever used.

This Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has only 2 pockets in the entire tent, and both measure about 13 inches in length and 6 inches in width, which is very tiny for such a huge tent. The door does have a bug net, but it’s only for half the door, and not the full door. Next, attach the 6 steel wall poles to the elbow connectors (the top of each pole) and to the pin at the other end (the base of each pole). Lay out all of the parts of your tent and ensure all parts are present.

Just unfold the tent, attach the canopy awning to the pyramid ozark trail wall tent frame, and extend the legs to your desired height.

The picture below shows the light on in one out of three modes, low, medium and high light. There is a pocket for batteries and with the switch on the ceiling, it is visible in the picture. I have included it in my list of Best Lighted Tents. An Ozark Trail tent is a great introductory piece of equipment.

I have pitched the tent twice in my back yard and found that I could pitch it by myself in about one hour. I watersealed the seams, as per the instruction sheet inside the ozark trail canopy carrying bag but I have not been rained on yet. Ultimately, the good design for this product was that it was sized right for what I needed, both in dimensions and weight.

I love that we were able to take the top flap off and watch the stars at night during nice weather. For pros, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent is very, very inexpensive, and is by far my least expensive tent for the size. And it even comes with a gear loft and room divider. I also found a bunch of loose threads on the floor when I first got into the tent, and excess material on some parts.
