I Tested the Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent Review
Light wind and rain should be fine, but you’ll want to take some steps to prepare for both (more on that below). It’s a cool tent all around, but our favorite feature has to be the 360-degree views delivered courtesy of this yurt’s giant mesh windows. There are three of these ozark trail tents large floor-level windows along the walls of the tent, plus the giant mesh doorway that can be left open in good weather. The Ozark Trail Yurt gets high marks for its overall interior space with 169 square feet of floor room and ceilings over 7 feet tall at their peak.

This Alps Cedar Ridge Rimrock 6 Tent is also very affordable and built in a different style. So this Ozark Trail 6 Person Instant Cabin Tent with Light is really nicely built and with several very ozark tent useful details. The tent is with an express setup design and very suitable for people who change the place frequently, and the integrated light sets it apart from its closest competitors.
If you a experienced camper like myself you would know that you have to use a tarp to cover your tent so that the water does not get inside when it rains. And you have to make sure that the zipper is closed well and also sprayed with a water repellent. But unfortunately, they are many morons out there that don’t know the first thing about camping. Not sure what season our tents were but, we had to get 4 of them. We, like some others, know that tents are NOT waterproof, so we sprayed the seams etc. with water replant. When we reached the beach everything went great, first night 30 mh winds.
Like the 12 person tent, it also comes with a T-style door, so you can move camping gear and furniture without having to fangle it through a small, D-style door. I didn’t pay much for this tent (just slightly over $100), and I don’t think there’s any other brand apart from Ozark Trail that you can buy a 10-person tent for this price. All the windows and doors also have to be closed, because otherwise, the rain would drip right into the tent. Even in light rain, the rain does get on to the window and door mesh, so it’s best to keep them full closed.
Take a look at the floor plan, it’s actually got five rooms if you count the center room. This tent is for groups or families that want to travel with the entire squad, but don’t want to have to sleep next to each other. Ft. of space, all split into three distinct, equal-sized rooms, all of which ozark trail wall tent can fit queen-sized air beds. When combined with the porch, the tent’s footprint is a square. This allows you to have a huge amount of tent space without taking up too much campground footage. Ozark Trail makes some of the best instant tents around, and certainly one of the most affordable.
And if this tent is too large, it also comes in a 6-person and 4-person version as well. This right here is the perfect tent for beginner campers. I had no issues with the guylines, though it would be nice if they were reflective at night. The mesh doesn’t exactly feel soft and silky, and I’m pretty sure it’s not no-see-um mesh, though it’ll keep the bigger bugs out.
With such a mesh roof you would not want to use the tent in a cold environment. This is why it is much better suited for a warm climate. This tent comes with the LED light integrated in its structure.
