Ozark Trail North Fork 12 x 10 Wall Tent with Stove Jack KLV

Stake-In Floor – Constructed of an 18oz fiber reinforced vinyl. Our floor is durable and able to withstand the harshest of conditions. Each corner features webbing and a d-ring which allows you to stake your ozark trail tents floor to the ground. Back Door or Back Window – You get to choose between having another door, which mirrors the front, or a 30″ x 30″ screened back window. If neither is specified, a back door will be sent.

If and when I buy a new tent, I will go with Ozark again, and will not buy it from walmart….if you watch a doc. Called “Walmart, the high cost of low ozark trail wall tent prices” it will explain to you why the product there is so cheap. When you buy anything from Walmart it is made cheap so it can sell for cheap.

The tent is fully freestanding with its 6 leg poles, but you have stakes included and do not miss using them, this is a boxy and tall structure, not very stable in side winds. The tent comes with a gear loft included, it attaches to the highest area of the ceiling as shown below, so you can store some small items there. The tent is open at the top with a weather rain fly that fits over the dome. The fly is so small it allows rain to blow up under and then runs into the tent. My family and I have used it a total of 3 times and the seams have ripped.

You get a nice high door so you can walk right in, and there is bug netting so that you can leave the door open without becoming a victim to mosquitos and gnats. You can easily fit five camping cots with a big stove in the corner or even more people on sleeping pads. The fly and the walls are a 68D coated polyester fabric.

Not the best, but certainly better than other shelters I’ve stayed in. At least it is easy to clean and provides bug protection. It is an Ozark Trail Dome Tent that is a 4-person tent.

The canvas is synthetic polyester and doesn’t contain any cotton, which makes it lightweight and waterproof but less breathable and insulative. It is unlike the thin synthetic fabric you get on backpacking tents; this is much thicker. A fantastic vent at the top on the front opens and closes almost like a drawbridge, with a pulley handle on the outside to open it and one on the inside to close it.

Steel D-Rings Along Eaves – The d-rings are featured every 3′. This is a much stronger system than tents with metal grommets pressed into the eaves.

It gets hot inside with everything closed, but it stays reasonably cool with everything open. In winter, however, you can seal everything up to trap all the heat in and even bury the outer skirts in dirt or snow to ensure an excellent thermal seal around the bottom. I must say that nothing is waterproof, water resistant is a better term. I bought a $3 bottle of seam sealer followed the directions and have not had a single issue with water since.
