Cuisinart Chefs Classic Stainless Steel Cookware Set Review 2023

I’ve checked out several cookware sets and I rarely see a manufacturer claim oven safety above 440 F. The Multiclad Pro set’s upper-temperature limit in the oven stretches a full 110 degrees higher than that, which is impressive. The construction is of an aluminum core bonded to a stainless steel interior and brushed with a stainless exterior. The result is a set of pans and pots that retain their new look while delivering excellent durability over repeated use.

I’ve already discussed why I believe higher prices are often worth it. To elaborate on the sharpness of the tapered rims, it’s not like they’ll cut you like a knife. But it’s worth being careful not to roughly scrape your skin against them. ✓  The brilliantly designed tapered rims give drip-free pouring from pots.

Testers also found that the pots were a bit heavy and might be hard to stack, so the set may be more ideal for someone who stores their set on a hanging rack. During testing, testers found that the pan heated evenly at all points, with the average temperature being around 325 degrees. The scallops cooked with a little stick on the first flip but when they were removed from the pan but they had a nice, even “crusty crust.”

Our testing team, led by our Kitchen & Cooking editor, who is also a professional chef, assessed this cookware set by putting each piece through a variety of tests. This versatile cookware set includes all of the home cooking staples—with some added bonuses. And while chef-approved brands like HexClad and Hestan may be fantastic, they come at high costs cuisinart pots and pans set that can be unrealistic for the average home cook. Designed from the inside out for today’s lifestyles, our Non-Stick Hard Anodized Cookware combines uncompromising superior cooking performance with a professional look. Cuisinart Non-Stick Hard Anodized Cookware exterior is harder than stainless steel for durability and professional performance.

The set received one of the highest ratings overall and was one our testers wanted for their own kitchens. This Rachael Ray set performed well during testing, with testers noting that it cooked evenly and was easy to clean. Testers didn’t love the blue silicone handle as well and preferred a set to have more than one skillet. They did appreciate the 1-quart saucepan, however, and felt that it was a good set for someone who just needs the cooking basics.

✓  The stainless steel construction is premium quality and completely non-reactive to food. Here are some of the main pros of the Multiclad Pro; my choice of the best Cuisinart cookware set. Testers found the pan had some serious cuisinart pots and pans set discoloration after removing it from the oven too, and the scallop marks have gotten even darker. There was even more discoloration around the sides and edges, which testers thought was probably from the cooking oil.
