If your window opening is shorter then the min height the air conditioner will not fit. The minimum and maximum window-widths into which the air conditioner will fit. If your window opening is narrower than the minimum width, the air conditioner will not fit. If your window opening is wider than the maximum width, the side panels will not cover the entire opening. The window needs to be a sliding window and slide so that there’s an opening of 5″ or so for the air tub plank to fit. If you have swinging windows, it won’t work unless you also slam in a big piece of plywood (yikes… but if it’s hot you gotta do what you gotta do).
