6 Person Wall Tent 12×10 Ozark Trail North

Nobody wants to spend all day sitting in direct sunlight either though, and that’s where a tent with a screen room like this Ozark Trail 9 Person Cabin comes into play. Our favorite Ozark Trail tent currently is the Ozark Trail Three Room Instant Cabin. This tent’s combination of floor space, livability, and value make it a home run for large groups or families looking ozark trail wall tent to spread out in style, but this 12-person behemoth won’t be everyone’s first choice. The poles are a combination of steel used for the legs and fiberglass used for the roof. The poles attach to the tent with clips, sleeves on the roof, and pin and ring connectors on the base. With so much mesh on the ceiling, I would not camp with this tent in a cold environment.

Only complaint was the zipper hangs on the front door flap, destroyed flap and zipper. Not the best, but certainly better than other shelters I’ve stayed in. At least it is easy to clean and provides bug protection. It sucked the trip the camping everything because the damn zipper broke and I got beast up on by mosquitoes and bugs.

If you a experienced camper like myself you would know that you have to use a tarp to cover your tent so that the water does not get inside when it rains. And you have to make sure that the zipper is closed well and also sprayed with a water repellent. But unfortunately, they are many morons out there that don’t know the first thing about camping. When something says “waterproof” it does not mean it will not leak. It is made of nylon and nylon does not keep water out. It is simply a way to keep you from direct weather contact.

This isn’t an instant tent, but ease of use is still a high point of this model thanks to the simple setup. Just slide the roof poles into place, then plug the side and corner poles into their designated hubs and raise it all up. Two people can get this cabin set up in about five minutes, but setting the 2 Room Cabin up solo isn’t out of the question either.

It is not naturally weatherproof but absorbs treatments incredibly well to become 100% waterproof with a single treatment. It requires you to ensure it is completely dry before storing, but if cared for properly, it will last a lifetime. Cotton canvas is usually treated to be UV resistant, and it is naturally sun blocking, so when you are inside a cotton canvas wall tent during the midday sun, it never gets too hot inside. ozark trail tents Yes, it can feel more humid, but if you can get some kind of a breeze blowing through, you can regulate the temperature without any AC. Don’t think it won’t be hot, though; all tents get hot in the sun, but the cotton canvas is just better than synthetic materials, in our opinion. The tent is extremely comfortable inside with a thick rubberized PVC floor that you can walk on with your boots and not worry too much.
