Your tents are not even good for more than two or three camping trips before the 10 has to be replaced because of your substandard zippers you put on the front door. While Ozark Trail tents are one of the least expensive family camping tents on the market, the waterproofing isn’t the best, the features, quality and lifespan of these tents aren’t that great.

I would not even think of unloading it on my worst enemy. I purchased this tent to take to music festivals and such, because it is like a small house. Obviously at such a low price you aren’t getting the most durable tent in the world. That being said it’s good enough for the vast majority of the population. Beyond being huge (25 ft. x 21 ft. 6 in. with an 83 in. center height), it has all of the weather protection and storage amenities of the above options. Standing in the third spot is the 9-Person instant cabin tent that combines a super-easy setup process, 189 square feet of interior space, and excellent head height. We were impressed by the interior layout and the excellent airflow that makes it great for summer camping. These tents aren’t designed for tackling rough weather conditions and heavy wind loads.
First off, dome tents are typically less expensive since they have fewer total parts and less sophisticated frames. Second, dome tents tend to fare better in bad weather because they’re rounded shapes are more aerodynamic. Ozark Trail tents are pretty much all “fair-weather” shelters, but dome tents get the advantage here.
