The Hamilton Beach Air Fryer Sure Crisp Toaster Oven is considerably smaller and less expensive than the other models we tested. It doesn’t sport electronic controls or a lot of fancy features and settings. While it’s baking performance was disappointing and hamilton beach air fryer it’s not large enough to roast a chicken, it shines at toasting and does a credible job of air frying. We received this toaster oven a couple years ago as a Christmas gift. It is a great size, fits nicely on our counter top, and does a great job of cooking.
The oven is extremely quiet as it operates with a dBA reading of 50.4; we virtually couldn’t hear it when it was running. Hamilton Beach’s new version of the Toastation is the 2-in-1 Countertop Oven and Toaster. It has the same great dual functionality as my old Toastation, but it’s even better. The oven can fit a 9-inch pizza — the old Toastation couldn’t — yet the overall size of the entire unit is not that much bigger. The 2-in-1 is not a cute shade of red like the Toastation, but its sleek chrome finish still looks stylish on my countertop.
Even Heating
My food is always cooked thoroughly and evenly when using this toaster oven. As long as I time it right everything always comes out perfect. I like that I can bake in here, as well as cook whatever kind of meat I would like to because of the broiler. I really like to use it to make steaks, and other cuts of beef. I even like to potatoes in here because potatoes can take forever to make but this makes them really fast.
Hamilton Beach® Convection Toaster Ovens are versatile and have all the traditional settings you look for in a countertop toaster oven, including toast, bake, and broil settings. And at the end of cooking, the cooking timer alerts you and turns the convection toaster oven off automatically. When it’s time for cleanup, hamilton beach toaster oven the interior wipes down fast and the crumb tray is removable. We are a “toaster oven family.” We use our toaster oven almost as often as our microwave, some the obvious toasting, to baking, it gets used nearly daily. When it was time to replace our last work horse, we chose this model because of it’s capacity.
Once your toaster is up and running, we recommend that you empty the crumb tray often. To keep grease from dripping on the lower heating element, use foil and a pan underneath whatever you’re cooking. We recognize that for some, a level of automation could prove helpful, so we’ll continue to test smart ovens. But we haven’t yet tested one where the features feel worth the investment for most people.
