Like the E100, this scooter is fitted with a chain-driven motor. The only downside we see in all three e-scooters is the lead-acid battery that takes around 8-12 hours to charge. Both front and rear wheels in the E200 are 20.3 cm (8”) pneumatic tyres that can be brought to a halt using the hand-operated rear brake. In the case of E90, the urethane front tyre has no shock absorption ability, which severely affects its performance on non-flat surfaces. The E90 has a push-button acceleration and the scooter can be stopped with the help of a hand-operated front brake. The 20-year-old company began with push scooters, but nowadays they are best known for the foldable electric scooters.
The full-sized deck and frame are designed for riders 13 and up. The all-steel frame and fork deliver a solid ride and stand up to rugged use. Whether the scooter folds will depend on the specific version, as newer versions of the scooter should come with a folding mechanism. The scooter is well protected by lots of foam and bubble wrap. While the Razor E Prime Air certainly is pretty to look at, it does have its shortcomings.
For instance, both the frame and the downtube is designed from high-quality aluminum. Children, the target rider for the Razor E100 Glow, will likely overlook many of this scooter’s drawbacks when presented with its easy-riding fun. The lack of lighting could be remedied with bicycle lights, or parents may just want to make sunset the curfew for riding. As it doesn’t include razor scooter any sort of lock, and the structure of the scooter doesn’t present any good holes or anchors for a bicycle lock, the E100 is best kept close to home. The Razor E100 Glow, built for children, makes for easy electric riding on smooth surfaces, but offers only basic features. Its long-range 36V lithium-ion battery will take you up to 15 miles on a single charge. Battery dropped over 20% in less than 3 minutes in an area where parking was not permitted. Haven’t reviewed all of my experiences, but it seem razor has let their scooter deteriorate the point the ride is not smooth and very poor. Customer service is very short and does not take the time to discuss your concerns.
