A good tent allows you to fully enjoy the outdoors, without having to spend 2 hours trying to set up the tent, only to give up & end up sleeping in your car; it sucks. It has an included rainfly, and the 7 mesh windows can be zipped up to prevent rain from entering. It has a nice mesh roof, mesh walls in the first room, and small windows in the second room, making for great ventilation overall. With 7 mesh windows and a full mesh roof, the Ozark trail has great ventilation. Although some tents promise to hold up to 12 people, things can get a little cramped when you have all the sleeping bags fully rolled out. Measurements will matter more than how the tent is advertised, so use a measuring tape to map it out and decide on the size that will accommodate sleeping arrangements.

Again, Ozark Trail tents are mainly fair weather camping tents (so you won’t be hiking into the backcountry with them) which means weight and packed size aren’t a big priority. It doesn’t get much easier than that, and when you’re working with something as large as a 14 person tent, you’ll be very glad to have the convenience.

The Ozark Trail Yurt gets high marks for its overall interior space with 169 square feet of floor room and ceilings over 7 feet tall at their peak. That’s plenty of room for two queen mattresses with room left over for some chairs, a cooler, and a camp table. However you use it, just know it’s going to be a great choice for 4+ campers. In saying that, Core usually has more features that make them a bit better.
